1. How Google finds and ranks your site

Following these Webmaster guidelines will help Google find, index, and rank your site. Even if you choose not to implement any of these suggestions, we strongly encourage you to pay very close attention to the "Quality Guidelines," which outline some of the illicit practices that may lead to a site being removed entirely from the Google index or otherwise penalized. If a site has been penalized, it may no longer show up in results on Google.com or on any of Google's partner sites.

2. How to create a favicon

One frequently asked question is how to create a favicon?
A favicon (short for favorites icon), also known as a website icon, shortcut icon, url icon, or bookmark icon is a 16x16 pixel square icon associated with a particular website or webpage. A web designer can create such an icon and install it into a website (or webpage) by several means such as a favicon.ico Generator, and most graphical web browsers will then make use of it. Browsers that provide favicon support typically display a page's favicon in the browser's Address bar and next to the page's name in a list of bookmarks. Browsers that support a tabbed document interface typically show a page's favicon next to the page's title. The Microsoft Windows Shell also uses favicons to represent "Internet shortcuts" to web pages.

3. Website traffic statistics tell a story

Domain owners who have their websites hosted by Rustikat can check their Web Site traffic statistics from the internet with any computer, anywhere in the world via Cpanel's Logs feature.
Here is how to check your stats:
Log in to your Client Area enter your email address & password. On the bottom right look for Server Login and click cPanel once you are in the cPanel scroll to the fourth row labeled Logs, then click Awstats, when you see Select a Domain click the magnifying glass for the site you want to view - this is the most simple to read and is the best in the business. there is a world of information about what is going on with your site.
Unique visitors is the number of computers that have visited your site this month, they are counted only one time each month Number of visits includes the number of computers and how many return visits they have made.
